Hello.
It could be a fuse or the switch, but that's very rare. It's probably the bulb. Cars use different bulbs for the High beams and Low Beams, because they are pointed in different directions. Your Low beams are pointed down towards the road, and more towards the center, while your high beams point more upwards and out, to illuminate a larger area.
Sometimes, the high beams and low beams are seperate elements in the same "bulb". On other cars, they use seperate bulbs.
Replacement usually only requires a screwdriver, and some auto parts stores will install them for free.
Older cars use a big glass "bulb" which is actually a lens, reflector and a bulb.

These were deemed unfashionable, and almost all new cars use halogen "lamps" instead of bulbs. These lamps snap into a plastic and glass housing, usually from under the hood, and let the auto designers be more creative. If your car has lamps like these, be careful not to touch the glass part of the bulb. The oil from your fingers may cause the bulb to fail.

Hope that helps.

if the any light is working it's not the plug, fuse....change the bulbs first....if the went out one at a time them is is the bulbs...if not that then it the switch that changes the light from high beam back to low....good luck

Seperate circuit. Changing the bulb will fix 90% of these problems.

If it's in one bulb, replace the bulb. If it's both sides, and you're already replaced the bulbs, it's a broken switch.
