I hate when people use the weather as an actual conversation. Maybe I am just strange. Input?

Im a receptionist, and when people come in and wait to speak to anybody, its all they talk about. I can only comment on the humidity a few times before Im exhausted about hearing it.

I don't mind it at all if people talk about the weather. It can be quite interesting to know if it's going to be a hot weekend or not.. or if it's supposed to rain tonight..
but if that is the ONLY thing people can talk about then I'm with you. It does get annoying.

As long as it is tropical and sunny and near a beach I could really care about the weather :)

It's a safe topic and can be a good ice-breaker. Just get used to it because people are not going to stop.
