First you need a better basic education. Now, do you want to take a single course, as your question indicates, in accounting, or do you want to earn a degree in accounting?
If you only want to take a single course, I can't imagine why. Every course in accounting relates in some manner to all other courses in accounting. One builds upon another. As the number of courses you take increases, your ability to see the whole picture slowly emerges.Advising you as to which course you should take, is impossible!!

If all you want to do is take an accounting class, then all you'll have to do is apply for admission to the school and register for the class. As for basic requirements to take the class, a basic knowledge of math and english is really all that's required.
Now if you want to pursue a Certificate or Degree in Accounting, then that's another story. There, you'll have to formally apply for admission to the school and the program, complete a series of required and elective classes. And as you take more and more accounting, things will get harder and the level of expertise will increase.
However, anyone can really take a beginning accounting class so long as they're able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and can read and write english well enough.
