i know lemons can lighten hair and my granny swears by using lemons on her knees to lighten them in the summer. i read in a magazine that lemons can be used as one element in a homemade facial it has anteseptic properties and it helps exfoliate.

Ii have never heard of lemons helping the skin. I don't think it will make your skin lighter. Maybe ask Michael Jackson. But yes it will make your hair lighter.

They can't all they make your skin is dry and flaky. Lemon is actually very bad for your skin.

yes lemons lighten your skin. mix it with honey so it wont be so harsh on your skin and it will give you a brighter complexion.

yes, i've rubbed it on my elbows,it lightens the dark areas.Wish i knew what causes that(the darker skin)
