Richard G has a good idea, a bad throttle position sensor can cause a hesitation on acceleration. That is not the only cause but a possibility. Take it to a dealer or good shop and they should be able to quickly scan the PCM and see if everything is as it should be and check to see if it has the latest driveability updates for your on board computer.

present day engine have many sensors, you may get the code examine. in case you have breakdown conceal they'll many times do it for you as you may injury the engine by utilising driving with the sunshine on. If the revs drop actual low it may desire to be the Idle Air administration Valve or Throttle stepper motor, yet like I mentioned, there are plenty and much sensors. I wouldnt bypass throwing sensors at it for the sake of a rapid diagnostic examine.
