Mini-particle physicists claim to have produced transient anti-matter particles. Transient in that they only stick around for fractions of a second before running into something else and disappearing.
So, what would be required to 'collect' anti-matter? You would have to be able to create the particles, separate and maintain the particles from everything else that isn't anti-matter. That is where the magnetic bottle comes in.
Here is the interesting part. It takes much more energy to create the anti-matter particles than is released when they annihilate. So, imagine running a nuclear reactor for a couple of months to produce the energy that you want to release in the anti-matter bomb.
For the time being, anti-matter bombs will remain in the purview of Star Trek, the place that I first heard of them :)

anti matter as the name suggests has properties opposite of the matter which we know by far....anti matter is made up of atoms whose charges are reversed....in normal atom the protons are positively charged present in the centre with negatively charged electrons revolving around it...in anti matter the negativly charged nucleus is in cente and positively charged particles revolve around it...,in essence we will have a proton negativly charged and an electron positivly charged (remember mass or proton and electrons are different...hence if antimatter and matter come near each other they will cancel each other out and pure energy will be released

He cloaked it so much in darkness he never really said how it was made just that it was and had to be stored in a magnetic bottle. They had alot of it, over an ounce enough to blow up the vatican, Literally
