if you are happy with the trade, then it was a good trade. and if he's happy with it, then you both made good.

Bad trade! A Clockwork Orange is a unique masterpiece. Goldeneye is just another... erm... James Bond movie (I do very much like On Her Majesty's Secret Service, though - underrated film that it is)! A Clockwork Orange is supposed to leave a bad taste in your mouth. What's left of Goldeneye? But since it's your brother's dvd now you will probably have the chance to watch it again. Yiu didn't lose that much then.

In matters of taste, there can be no dispute. If you like Bond better, that's cool. But A Clockwork Orange was called "the only perfect movie I've ever seen" by reviewer Rex Reed.
Still, if you're disturbed by it, it probably was a good trade.

oh, horrifyingly bad trade! Bond movies are formulaic and predictably unbeleivable for overuse of special effects, gadgetry and bad acting.

Clockwork Orange was a Kubrick masterpiece that has yet to find an equal or good imitator...

Besides, I'm always up for some drug-laced milk after a night of the old 'ultra violence.'

You made a bad trade. Clockwork orange is disturbing at best. Goldeneye you can at least watch more than once. Sorry! maybe you can resell it on ebay?
