Have you noticed Jon is now getting dates from all these women? Why? When did this start to happen? How come he's suddenly a ladies man? It just doesn't make sense. Garfield is my fav comic!

I think the creator is finally trying to get John a woman, or at least a love life...yeah, I miss John always being rejected by women all the time, but hey, I guess the creator figured that even John deserves a break, lol. He'll be back in a dateless slump soon, it's just a phase he's going through...
