Rookie of the year: Randy Foye - Minnesota. He dominated in the Summer League for the Timberwlves team averaging over 20 points a game. "Randy Foye has the look of a future star, earning Dwyane Wade comparisons." CBS Sportsline.

Runner up: Brandon Roy - Portland. "Brandon Roy is mentioned right up there with Foye as the early Rookie of the Year favorite. The two were arguably the best players all summer." CBS Sportsline

Randy Foye

The kid can flat out play ball. He can score in such a variety of ways, and can get anywhere he wants on the court. He has great penetration ability and just has that knack for getting the ball in the hoop. All of these things sound a whole lot like Dwayne Wade. Foye may not be as good as wade, but he has a lot of similar characteristics, plus he can shoot from long distance too. Also remember that he's playing on a team with Kevin Garnett which should help immensely.

JJ Reddic, from Duke, of course. Second most points per game in NCAA. Adam Morrison, Gonzaga University scored the most ppg, but I like J.J.Reddick more because he played for Duke, still Morrison is a better player, so I change my mind and vote for Morrison. The only reason pitarheels is saying that is because he likes North Carolina - our rival!

the dumb *** that said "Reddick" - is a dumb ***. he is hurt and not practicing now. propably out getting another DWI. he cant hang guarding the top guards in the Eastern Confrence. He cant drive to the basket, he missed shots when he drove to the basket. He can shoot the lights out. BUt lets see how he does against a pro player. I compare his shooting to Reggie Miller. But he aint as quick and cant play D. Plus he is a prick.
Morrison has a good chance with the role he can play at Bobcats.
Andrea Bargnani may be the one.

JJ Redick! You can love him, you can hate him, but you can't deny the fact that he is a damn good shooter. Maybe he's weak on the defensive end, but offensively he's big trouble. Picture it yourself: Dwight Howard(terrific big man for the magics) has the ball, gets double teamed, kicks out to redick for the open jumper, swish every time. He's automatic from the freethrow line as well, which rack up points.

Adam Morrison because he will have alot of chances to score for the Bobcats. He will lead his team in scoring and the Bobcats will be a vastly improved team. This will lead to him winning the ROY.
