Honey, if you're asking this question you're way too young to be thinking about having sex. Wait until you're older and enjoy it!!
By the way you can have sex before your periods start, but it's not advisable as your internal bits are not ready for that type of action yet.
As for getting pregnant without having a period the chances are slim, but if you've never had a period when do you know their going to start? Therefore you could have sex and get pregnant without having a period, explain that to your parents!!
If you still decide you want to have sex use condoms that way you're protected against STD's and pregnancy.

YES. If you are not old enough to have not had your first period you are not old enough to be having sex in the first place, epsecially if you do not know (they teach this in health class so listen up at school) You CAN become pregnant even without having had your first period because you never know when it is going to happen. Ovulation (when the egg is released from the ovary) takes place 2 weeks before a period, and that is true even with a first period. If you have sex 2 weeks before your first period is supposed to start you CAN indeed become pregnant.

I don't think it would be a good idea to have sex before you start your period. I don't beleive you can get pregnant if you don't have your period. When you have your period then a egg is being released and that is when you would get prego, with out a period that is not possible.

Ryan's mom is exactly right. You can, of course, perform the sex act before your first period occurs--though I don't recommend it--, and you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex about 2 weeks before your first period *would* have occurred. You can also get a sexually transmitted disease at any time, so it's best to say no or be pretty darn careful. Educate and protect yourself.

contrary to popular belief you can get pregnant if you havent had your first period!! You could be having cycles and not have shed the lining of your cervix!! You always need to be having safe sex not matter what!! Protect yourself from not only unwanted pregneancy but other nasty stuff people can carry!!!!! Respect yourself, get the education you need to make informed choices, and as a mother of two I beg of you to talk to your parents, or a TRUSTED adult!!!!! you need to be informed of tje concequences to your choices!!!!!!!!! PLEAse Please Please talk to an adult!!!! hopefully your parents, they were young once to you know!!1 I remember what it was like at your age they will too!!!
