Won't happen.
Sadly, this is a two party system (for the moment). So, with two candidates on one side of the political spectrum, the votes on that side of the spectrum will be split. Some people will vote based on ideology, and some people will voted based purely along party lines. Which means the other side of the spectrum wins.
Political parties as a whole are why this country is going to hell in a handbasket. We can't have any real debate on the issues, because it always becomes about the party, which devolves into character attacks on the candidates by the opposing party.

Joe Lieberman is a Jew who's in choose of all that is Israeli. because Israel and the Arab international places are bitter enemies it stands to reason that he could choose a warfare to down an Arab usa. The stance on the warfare is the in straightforward words ingredient he disagrees with the Democrats on. So Independant Democrat is likely a reliable manage for Senator Lieberman.

First off, he won't win without the RNC financially backing him.
What will the Democrats learn? Nothing that they don't already know. That LIEberman is willing to throw the party to the wolves to advance his own personal agenda. That LIEberman has little concern for the will of the people. That LIEberman is a crybaby who who can't accept the fact that he lost.
The people have spoken.

Joe Lieberman is a statesman in his own time, but running as an independent will be tough. I wish him luck.

Joe will absolutely win, because there isn't a strong REP candidate in CT...so moderate REPs will vote for him. He only lost 49 to 51%. DEMs won't learn a message.. it's simply what will happen. There's not really anything to learn from a vote.

the election in ct is now a three way race. republicans now have a chance in ct. but none of that matters either way republicans win because of yesterday. if Lamont wins a very powerful democrat is replaced with someone with no clout in Washington. if Joe wins things stay the same. if Allen wins hooray for us. he's a middle of the road guy but still better then left leaning. way to go ct residents you have done it again.

No chance he will win as an independent. Read the latest issue of Rolling Stone (Led Zeppelin on the cover) for a great analysis of how he destroyed himself.

If that happens, a follow up study will show that the Democratic vote was divided and that tons of Republicans voted for him because his make-out session with the President got them charged up because of their repressed homosexual desires.
