At the end of the movie It's My Party. The last thirty minutes is a killer. If you didn't cry at the end of it, you aren't human.

That is so weird. I clicked on your question with the intention of saying when Simba screams "somebody, anybody, HELP". I still have to say it is the worst because I an an only child and i couldn't think of anything worse than my parent dieing!!! I am so surprised that someone else has watched Beaches...that can also be a killer at times!!

That damn scene at the end of Pinnochio when poor Gepetto is crying over Pinnochio's broken up little puppet-body.
And I've seen the movie several times, so I KNOW that in just a few seconds that brightest star out the window is going to start getting closer and closer and bigger and bigger, and is going to fly in through the window and morph into the good fairy, who's going to bring Pinnochio back to life and turn him into a REAL boy...I KNOW it. But I haven't seen it yet without blubbering like a damn baby.

first before i answer i have to say the only way to watch this trilogy is all in one go The Godfather series and the scene that made me cry is in the 3rd film (which incidently is the poorest of the three but worth it for this one scene) when the corleone family come out of the opera house and al pacinos daughter gets shot its his reaction his pain is so much that when he cries out and falls to the floor no sound comes from his mouth i have never seen an actor convey grief in such a way and you get the feeling that he knows it was coming for all the bad things he has done through his life like having his brother killed al pacino was my idol after i saw the way he acted in those three films and when his daughter dies its like karma coming full circle! brilliant!

Veronica Guerin: When you see all her family finding out she has been killed
Men Of Honour: Can't remember any one scene in particular but I def cried my heart out at that one.
ET: When he leaves at the end (which by the way I didn't see til I was bout 12, went to see film at the cinema when I was about 3 and had to be removed from the theatre cos I cried so much when he "died")

At the end of Hotel Rwanda, when the man and wife find the two little alive at the camp, I bawled. It was a release for all the times I couldn't cry in the rest of the film.
Dumbo's mom, holding Dumbo in her trunk, while all the other moms held and curled up with their babies.
Old Yeller.
Land Before Time, when Littlefoot runs up to his shadow, all happy and excited, then realizes, and the anoucers says, "It was then that Littlefoot realized he was truely alone.", and again when he says it was his mother's fault she died.
Swing Kids, when the one kid kills himself.
Same with Dead Poets Society
Steel Magnolias, when the mom is crying and saying, "I'm fine! I'm fine! I could run to Texas and back! But my daughter can't...she never could!"
I could go on and on, but I think you have the idea.

Holy smokes. Two scenes come to mind. The first is in Disney's Fox and the Hound, when Todd and Copper can't be friends anymore. The second is from Little Princess, when the father, suffering from amnesia, doesn't recognize his own daughter. Holy smokes, those are heart-wrenchers.

I cried all the way through the joy luck club, but especially at the end where the daughter goes to china to visit her older twin sisters after her mother has died and when you first see them, one of them is the mother! Then you pan back and then there is just the twin sisters and the younger sister has to explain that their mother has died. I cried and cried at this scene.
