You aren't going to get ANYTHING running 175 on a half-mile clay oval track, so not too many builders would gear a dirt track car for that sort of top speed. Not even an Outlaw Sprint car, and those things often have 800 horsepower or so on tap. Those are also rather specialized, set up to only turn one way.

There are a lot of different kinds of dirt track cars. Some are just cheap economy cars with some minimal safety mods. Others are hopped up production cars very similar to your Camaro except for suspension and safety items. Then there are the tube frame monsters with massive V8's and solid axles at both ends - sprint cars and the odd wedge-shaped cars.

You don't want to try taking on the high end dirt track cars in their natural environment. But on a road course, autocross, or the highway, they're something of a fish out of water. Still, if someone set one up to turn both ways and geared it to match the course, it would be pretty formidable in other sorts of racing too.
