Perhaps, all that sauce from spaghetti splattered on your date's lips would gross you out. Usually, dates have played it safe with chicken or fish. Nothing messy. One date did decide to order a bowl of chili as their meal. Uh, no kiss for them.

i cannot think of any. while growing up, my parents thought me the value of food, and that it is a blessing and we should never take advantage of it by wasting it or throwing it away.
however, when i eat, i cannot stand looking at a barbie doll -- i will lose my appetite, and sometimes even throw up. i don't know why.
chili or spaghetti sauce wouldn't offend me. im pretty low-key and i don't get offended easily.
but if you really want to know what food will look completely unattractive? my friend once sent me a picture of an exotic food that she ate in an exotic island while on vacation... it's a fruit bat with its wings spread out -- it was disgusting and she actually ate it.

Ribs! or any other food you eat with your hands, like burgers...most resturant burgers (not fast food) are so big you can't get your mouth around them..so you end up looking like an ape or a freak trying to eat it. and you always end up with mayo, or mustard on your face.
ribs are even more unpleasant! sticky bbq sauce all over their hands and then the pathetic napkins that don't help. they have to go wash their hands to get that crap off...then its all over their face and they smell like bbq sauce for HOURS after.

Probably it would have to be any kind of salsa because it looks very unattractive while eating it and then what if it drops on your date's shirt or if some of it be on your date's mouth while you are talking to them.
