What do you think of his decision to continue to run as an "independent Democrat"? Would you vote for him? Any predictions on who will win the race in November?

I think he will win in a landslide

Connecticut has a voter-eligible population of roughly 2.4 million. 653,055 (37%) registered as Democrats, 438,554 (22.0%) are registered as Republicans. Fill in the blank, 44% of voters are unaffiliated or "independants." This means that only 37% of Connecticut was eligible to vote on Aug. 8th. Since Leiberman probably lost the primary due to his centrist esq actions in the last 6 years I would not be surprised to see much of that 44% lean twards lieberman, and probably a chunk of the the republican 22% and of course just under half of the 37% Democrat which he just proved on the 8th that he is capable of earning.

I live in NY, but I would vote for Lieberman as an "independant Democrat," and I am confident he will win, easily.

He's more interested in being a Washington power-broker than in being loyal to the Democratic party or his constituents. By his actions he's willing to risk giving that seat to the Republicans - the party of his boyfriend, "W". I hope this weasely, has-been gets convincingly tossed to the curb and can't even get a job as a lobbyist!

I agree with what the little_green_men said. (It sounds funny saying that). Once again LIEberman has proven that his personal agenda is more important than the will of the people.
