Gas prices will remain high as long as the Oil companies are making so much money. Quit driving so much. This is not a Republican or democrate issue. Niether one of them can do anything about it. This is solely based on greed. The government could try and put a cap on it and legislate it but that in the long run would cause problems. If the american people actually stopped being so wastful then the Oil companies would pay attention. We are still paying less than the European countries.

Well, being poor, i have purchased a powered kerosene pump that also works well for sucking gas out of automobile gas tanks. I usually only hit the rich yankees that populate my hometown now.

Nothing - - Oil Companies Rules the world - -but that's ok they'll burn in their own oil filled hell. Which is probably their idea of heaven. I wish I had made 20 bajillion dollars a quarter. DON'T YOU. Ah that felt better.

Contact your Representative or Senator and implore them to lighten EPA and similar government agencies regulations. This would allow more competition and make it easier for oil companies to search for and refine more petroleum products, thereby releasing our dependence on the OPEC cartel.

they need to continue up. if it's hard on you find another form of transport. rising gas prices will force the hand of oil companies to release the technology of alt. fuel vehicles and renewable energy vehicles. then get one of those.

Drive less use Fuel effiecient cars use alternate fuel sources. Also fill your car tires with nitrogen. Its not explosive and it will cost a lil up front to have it done but long run it will pay for itself.

1. Support alternative energy and renewable energy activities. 2. Conserve fuel by driving less, driving slower, and carpooling. 3. Walk when you don't have far to go or too much to carry.

Use public transportation.

Write to your local, state, and Federal representatives and urge them to eliminate gasoline taxes. Encourage others to do the same.

VOTE make sure you elect officials who will look after our interests not their own! Of course I do not know if people like that exist in politics.
