Yup.
Here's how you can tell: take your decimal 0.125, and change it to 125/1000 (notice that I moved the decimal point three places to the right, so there as three zeroes in the number in the denominator).
Now reduce the fraction -- look for common factors of 125/1000 and divide both numerator and denominator by those factors. For instance, 125/1000 both have factors of 25, so the fraction becomes 5 / 40. Then we see that there's still a common factor of 5, so we get 1/8.
Hope that helps!

Yes. All decimals convert into fractions.
See
0.1 = 1/10
0.01 = 1/100
0.001 = 1/1000
So if you had, for example 0. 24 that would be 24/100 which when divided down is:-
24/100 = 12/50 = 6/25
6/25 cannot divide down any further so that is your answer
Gettit?
Thus
125/1000 = 25/200 = 5/40 = 1/8
So you're right. Well done

I have to agree with one of the other users about you wasting 5 points on a question like that. Of course .125 equals 1/8.

Start out
8 goes into 10, 1 time with 2 left over. (.1)
8 goes into 20, 2 times with 4 left over. (.12)
8 goes into 40, 5 times with 0 left over (.125)
Since you have zero left over, stop.

Yup, sure does!
You can tell because: 1/4 converts to 0.25
And half of 0.25 is 0.125, half of 1/4 is 1/8
