Honey, let me tell you a little secret: Santa hasn't brought you any presents since you were two years old. You want to know why? Because he only gives presents to kids who are good ALL YEAR! EVERY SINGLE DAY! Everyone wonders how he can bring presents to so many boys and girls? It's because he can count the number of worthy souls on ONE HAND and have fingers left over!
Your parents, on the other hand, want you to believe that you're a good kid, because then they can delude themselves into believing they're good parents. So they buy you extra gifts and pretend they're from Santa. Everyone's parents do this. Some have done it for so long that they've forgotten Santa was ever real, and figure they're just the keepers of an ancient materialistic sham for the sake of tradition and a month or two of browbeating their kids into behaving.
Sorry to be the bearer of such bad news, but the bright side is that it really doesn't matter - you'd already fallen off the nice list back in April. I'm sure you remember why.

Well you ruined the streak. You might as well keep doing it till christmas passes. Then I would stop and try for next year. Maybe send santa a letter and he might get excited and forgive you...or give you extra presents.
