check out Big Train, it was a brilliant but surreal sketch show that starred a few of the people from spaced and was written by the writers of Father Ted and Black Books. Also Nathan Barley was good and series 2 of The Mighty Boosh is great

Shame, Spaced was great, but underratted and didnt last more than 2 series if im right.
Id recomend Red Dwarf as a good one to get, The young ones was a good one too, but youve probably seen these as they are fairly old.
On the other hand, Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of crisps is pretty funny. So id choose that if you want something abit more recent, you can also watch it every night on BBC3

I really love Spaced so if you haven't seen it yet Sean of the Dead is worth a watch.
League of Gentlemen is brilliant.
Black books.
Alan Partridge - any of em.
The Office (different humour but I thought Id throw it in anyway!

Bottom and Black Books are among my favourites, along with series 2,3, and 4 of Blackadder. Or if you'd like something a little more "out there" you could give Green Wing a try.

Have you seen the film Shaun of the Dead? Same humour but with zombies! A lot of the same actors too.

Try Black Books. One of the guys who wrote it was one of the guys who wrote Father Ted. Very dark, very funny.
