I have several hero's
My dad was my hero b/c he gave so much of himself in the poverty situation we grew up in.He never let us down,he did without ALL his life ,to make ours a little better. That is why at his Funeral we played the song "WIND BENEATH MY WINGS"
Also my children are my hero's.I wrote a poem for my kids:
MY CHILDREN
MY HERO'S
The Real Hero's To Me
Are My Children You See
In The Face Of Diversity
They Never Loose Sight Of Reality
They Love With All They Got
And Be Pushed Aside They Will Not
With All They Have Been Through
And They Come Out Ahead In All That They Do
They Represent The Lost Child In Me
The One That Finally Wants To Be Free
In Their Eyes I see Light
Even In The Dark Of Night

My hero is every soldier fighting to preserve freedom in his country.
My hero is every freedom fighter pushing out invaders.
My hero is every sick sunovagun risking his a s s to save another's a s s
My hero is the mom who gives what she can to her child
My hero is the mail person delivering the mail despite dogs
My hero is the kid from the slums who studies hard

My current boyfriend. He is my hero, because he is the only person in the world who calms my worries, he saves me from myself, so that makes him a hero to me.

My hero? Umm... I guess I'd have to pick my cute little adorable babysister that is.
There is no specific reason, but well, she keeps me alive most of the time and thanks to her I'm not an only child. With her, I don't think life is that bad. Even though I don't always play with her, I still love her and I'm glad she's my sister. Now you tell me who's your hero!

In my case it should be who 'was'. He was my older half-brother:
My hero died last week; he never knew
I thought the world of him, but failed to tell him so,
He went not knowing how I felt since I was very young,
The last one of my heroes died, his praises left unsung.
