I have a taxidermy studio, and we routinely measure all sorts of weird things when determining the live weight of a trophy animal.. We tried a full gallon of pig's blood, and it was 8.55 pounds. FYI, whitetailed deer blood is right at 8.8 pounds.

BTW, the intestinal fat weighs 8.2 pounds per gallon, so guess there is fact in the statement that muscle weighs more than fat. Yes, it helps to be a little wacko in some professions.
