I hate flying. The idea that there is no way to save yourself if something goes wrong on the plane and being miles up in the air gives me the willies.

I detest flying in airplanes for the simple fact that I'm giving up control. Handing over control to a complete stranger (licensed pilot or not) makes me very nervous, especially because if they screw up, we're all dead. There's no shoulder to pull onto, no swerves and misses. It's certain death and that terrifies me.
