Is Incubus the best band with it's outstanding vocal talent and well written music or is Metallica the best band with some of the catchiest rocking tunes in the world?

That's hard really as Metallica have had many albums & have had time to change their music style where as Incubus have a lot to catch up on.
I used to love Metallica but would prefer to listen to Incubus these days.

Incubus.
While Metallica is very, very good at what they do, and I won't argue their talent, they show little to absolutely NO diversity in their musical talent. All their songs pretty much sound the same. Which, I guess if you like that song, is a good thing. (Personally, I find it boring.)
Incubus has more diversity in their sound and they continue to evolve. That makes them the better band.

Here's my vote for Incubus, although all my comments have already been covered....they are very different bands, but Incubus does have diversity and the ability to evolve...
of course personal, even without the aforementioned reason, I do still prefer the "sound" of Incubus.. ah...must play them now...

Incubus are best, they are way better than any other band!!! ok, Metallica are good, but not a patch on Incubus!

Incubus I'm love metallica but i don't want to listen to them all the time. It depresses me. I love incubus more. I love brondon boyds voice. The have awesome lyrics that say something.

Those are 2 totally different bands.
But Incubus is better between them.
If you are looking for well written music, listen to Tool.

Nowadays, you could get away with saying that Incubus is more hardcore than Metallica.....
