I'm a mom, and I usually pay attention and notice kids that appear to be "lost". If we're out, and I notice a lost child, I try to keep the child in sight and look around for the parents. Usually it's easy to figure out who the parents are, because they are the ones with the frantic look on their faces.
I've had lost kids ask me for help. I think it's because I look like a mom.
I've always told my kids that, if they get lost, to look for a police officer, or a woman with little kids. I figure a mom with kids with her is more likely to help a lost kid.

Oh my gosh, that would be so scary but I probably would call CPS or the police if I found the child on the street. If the child was in the store, I would go to customer service and wait until the parent(s) showed up and then yell at them, informing them that there are predators out there. Hopefully, this will never happen to me.

I would ask the child if it knew it's name and look for someone in authority to report the child to!@

I would help find his parents, maybe take him to the local authorities since they have a better means of locating his parents...stuff like that

I would most likely feel bad for him/her and try to help. I can't help it... I have a soft spot for the less fortunate.
