OBE is walking out of your body into THIS world, Astral projection is going from your body into ANOTHER world.

Astral projection is a controlled type of out of body exprience, they can "project" themselves to another place. The general type of OBE is where you are literally above your body and can see it. You still can move around but everything's like jello. But in astrals unless I'm mistaken, you still have a soild form.

Astral projection is a subtype of OBE -- basically, when it's done on purpose. Another kind of OBE is when people who are clinically dead observe their own bodies.
