Italy won, so they're the winner, regardless of anything being said, Zidane is a professional and should have kept his cool... he didn't, and his team lost... It's that simple... a better question about sports that I don't care about is: Who is the real winner of the Tour de France?

You will never get an unbiased opinion on this issue. Most Zizou fans will support him, most Italian fans will support Matterazzi. But for Dany, if Zidane wanted to lie he could easily have gone along with all the rumours and gossip that Matterazzi racially vilified him, but he didn't. He told the truth. He may have done things in his past, but has Matterazzi has deplorable displays of play and sportsmanship also in his playing history. They have both apologised for their actions, end of the drama.

I dont mind what Zidane did worse things happen in soccer. But I still think Italy is the better team and deserved to win.

for the final, I supported France all the way. But I don't even like France and definitely not Italy. I SUPPORT DEUTSCHLAND ALL THE WAY!!! Germany's the real winner of wc 2006. And Italy undeserved that cup.
