try tapping on the side of your heal on the left foot. This sends messages to the brain, and the erection will go down. It is normal for young guys to experience this, don't worry! Morning wood is also normal. Just think, there will be a day when you struggle to even get an erection, guys are at their sexual prime at 17, women much later! Enjoy it while you can.

If it isn't appropriate then, concentrate on a turn-off, like John Prescott or Ian Beale. But don't despair it will pass. Just one of those things us blokes have to endure. Also, try and wear baggy trousers around your crotch if you're going out. And even if your not erect, try keeping it pointing north under the elastic of your pants. If you then feel a stirring in the loins, at least you wont get the tent pole effect when you're walking past that group of giggling girls. Good luck mate.

At 16, you have one of the highest hormone levels you will ever have. That causes the "inappropriate" erections. That will start to wane soon, and wont be a problem as you get older.
Here is a greta hint on how to make it subside quickly: Hold your breath. Erections occur as blood flows into your penis. when you hold your breath, your body automatically starts conserving blood flow. So hold your breath as long as you can, then breath, and hold it again. Within a minute or two, presto! your little friend is under control.

What's inappropriate? The lunch lady? With the guys in the showers?
If it's just during non-specific times, don't worry about it, it's normal.
PS- Girls DO notice. Makes some of them curious.

That is a fact of life for all men. Not to worry, other boys and men have the same problem. Instead of being embarassed by it, make nothing of it and others will do the same. Later in life it won't be quite as bad as it is for you now. But rest assured you are completely normal.

I suggest you try the "belt tuck" technique to conceal your hard-on, simply prop it up behind your belt so that it is not sticking out. Although you'll stop getting so many, you will always (barring pneumatic issues) get get this at some time or another, so it is helpful to come up with a few different ways to conceal it.
Or you could try to get a job somewhere where it is appropriate to walk around like that.

At the tender age of 16 me old son, I would say it is the hormonal explosion ripping through your body. Nothing to worry yourself about.
Find discreet ways to hide it is my only advice.
On the bright side, in 70 years or maybe even before you may be looking back at these days with envious eyes...

I think it just means you're functioning OK. One of my male colleagues said that you may be consciously not thinking of sex, but sub-consciously... one never knows. :)
I have seen older men (28 at the time) get errections at really inappropriate moments (although I cannot vouch that they didn't think of sex right then); so I don't know in how _much_ time it may pass...

He he ... mate you are male, teen and horney as hell...
You are normal and all blokes go through that...
Hes a hint... its linked to the fact you will find the sight or boobs and kissing much more exciting then older guys and all the female phemeones floating around.
Practice thinking of least sexy thought possible

LOL. its natural and unavoidable, it happens to the best of us. Unfortunate when it happens inappropiately-especially at work. It doesn't help, women, when you give us a "hard" time about it. Ladies, for "noticing" and ignoring without comments - thank you - hats off.
