probably not, I've worked on many imports. There are very few that are interchangable. Either the mounting is different, or the connector to the motor will be different in the back. Hard to know for sure without knowing what type of honda you have.

I don't think so, the motors are the same, but there are two arms connected to the electric motor, they are called window regulators. That is were you are going to run into problems. The regulators are different from front to rear. Dang it!
Now a wrecking yard will have what you need, you wont spend a ton of money on the part and you will end up with, Front windows and rear windows that work.
You will also become a pro at doing this, and be able to replace window regulators for your friends, and heck you can charge 75.00 an hour for your hard work! COOL!

I randomly picked a Honda, 1998 Honda Civic LX, and looked up the power window motors (Body-Interior). There are different part numbers for not only the front and rear window motors but also the left and right front and left and right rear.

You could call a Honda parts department and get BOTH part numbers. If they are IDENTICAL then it should work. But, ANY, ABSOLUTELY ANY difference and you are toast.
Also, go back and read Dodge Man again. I can't guarantee the accuracy of his answer but he sounds like a guy I would listen to.

no you cant,,even though they look similar,they wont work,,i own a repair shop and someone came in once for us to repair,,and they had messed the rear window up trying to take it out, because they thought it would work on the front one and at first glance they do look alike,but are different,,i hope this help,s some.
