I use Purex and my clothes are fresh for weeks. The other thing you can do is put fabric softner sheets in your drawers and on the shelf in your closet.

i think its more the fabric softener then the detergent,i found snuggle to leave a nice scent

Store them in a plastic bag if you want to keep the odor around.

Purex seems to work here.
