He supported the war on terror. He stayed constant with his views while the world changed as always and people want to fry him for it. Nice party huh? Bunch of backstabbers

he does not spew the party hate. Although he votes with democrats over 96% of the time, the fact that he has supported the war has subjected him to the worst garbage to be thrown at him. It seems we have descended to the point of no return with our govt.
It's all about party line - no longer about what is best for the country. A sad day.

I'm surprised he ran such a close race in losing. He was a supporter of this misbegotten war in Iraq, that the majority of the people in America, not just his state, now feel is a mistake and a fiasco. In addition, I've always resented him for working well with the Religious Right. I resent non-Christians who help advance a Christian agenda through politics, which is illegitimate.

He voted in favor of the war in Iraq. Why do you think Hillary, John Kerry and that bunch are now trying to run from their votes. The Democratic Party is now owned by special interest groups, how sad is that?

He got old, stood by what he believed, voted almost a straight party line, backed other Democrats, is a patriot and is a practicing Jew. So, be careful out there.

He's got F.D.R. & J.F.K. points of views, something the Democrats have lost sight of.
I mean c'mon the guy votes AGAINST "dubya" 98% of the time.
