Nopers it doesn't offend me at all.. hehe.. By having it upside down you are demonstrating your lack of confidence in your government. Way to go.

No, the flag has guide lines for how it is to be displayed. I don't have any problem with people expressing their feeling about the government but if you don't like the U.S., the flag is a symbol of this country, leave. Those burning the flag and such are not expressing free speech or peaceable right to assemble. Speech is verbal or written communication and the peaceable right to assemble is just what it says, get together peacefully to protest. Those flag burners are attacking the symbol of the very country that offers them a very peaceful place to live. I don't believe they dislike the country or they wouldn't be here and they certainly enjoy many freedoms, because in other places they would just be shot. Burn your effigies but quit attacking the country you live in.

I find it offensive and it may be illegal to actuall fly a flag upside down. I am certainly not a fan of the Bush administration or the direction this country is headed but denegrating the nation as a whole by hanging a flag upside down is extremely offensive.

I find it offensive because even though I don't agree with things Bush is doing, you are making an insult against the country as a whole, and this is a great country with great tradition and values...... you should embrace America, even if the current leader isn't serving it well.
You should think about the men and women who served and died in the armed forces for you to have freedom in many wars since the day America came to be before you disgrace our flag like that.

I think that the point you are trying to convey is that you don't like America. However, if that is the case, an up side down flag merely signals "Distress"
It does not mean what you are trying to say.
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm just saying.
You can fly your flag however you want to.

No does nor offend me, BTW did ya know it's upside down?
tell me this. Do you know the proper way to dispose of a flag?
Did ya know that you are not to fly a Tattered flag? It's also not permitted to get it wet. All Marines know this.
BTW, It's people like Chuck that do offend me. Neocons love to talk about non issues, that way they avoid talking about real Issues.
Just like when Bush was ask about the members of his coalition.
Every major Nation in the world did not agree with Bush.
Chuck also thinks the Millions paid in bribes to Members of Congress by Corporations is "the voice of the people".
Pretz is also offensive. Since he is not in Iraq supporting his Leaders in Bush's war. Why?
Neocons love sending others off to fight and die and do their dirty work, while they like Bush and Cheney are draft dodgers.
Neocons also want the working class tax payers to pay the $ 2 trillion cost of their mistakes in Iraq.

You can do what you like with it.
As long as you don't stick it under my nose and claim that you're the greatest country on God's earth and you "saved our asses" in WWII and the rest of the jingoistic crap the Yanks sometimes come out with. That would offend me. Along with the rest of the non-American world.
Otherwise, go nuts.

You can fly it any way you want to. I usually put mine like that when I send out a stamp. I don't do it on purpose though. People do that all the time. It's nothing new.
