Is it as good as they say?

It's a great ride, but not my favorite. Personally, I like Mission space and test track better.
But the ride IS way better than Draggin Iron (NOT a top 100 coaster) at Cedar Point. Magnum and Millenium Force are good though (both top 10 coasters)

I have not ridden the coaster. BUT: based on the manufacturer (Vekoma) and Disney I can say 5 things about it:
1. It will be ridiculously over themed
2. It will be a moderate - extremely rough ride
3. The theming and story will be OK
4. The actual coaster (take all scenery away) would suck (as all Vekoma coasters do).
5. The wait will be ridiculously long.

yes. It's one of the Disney parks better coasters *though my fave is still Iron Dragon And Millenium Force. Everest is cool in that the ride goes backwards at one point *when the track
is damaged,and has a part out side of the mountian tat u can't see and has a yeti at the end the looks so real!

It coaster itself was so-so, but, as mentioned earlier, the scenery was really well done. A word of caution: the ride seems to get stuck A LOT. They might've worked all the kinks out since we last went to Disneyworld two months ago, but who knows.
