I never thought of that before lol. So if they were made in god's image and they do have a belly button does this mean god has a belly button? Why would he have one? Oh no....... did god have a mom? My whole life has no meaning now muhahahahah.

Technically speaking Adam and Eve could not have belly buttons since they were created from dust (or earth) and were not conceived in the womb.
However, one must take the story of creation as a myth, the story is not real but the message is true i.e. God is the creator of the universe.

God first created Adam in his own Image so he may have belly button if God has it and nobody has much Idea about it.
Then he created Eve from his rib bone to give him a company so it is not possible for her to have a belly button as it is the residue of the Umbilical chord which connects the embryo with the womb

Good question. I suppose they wouldn't have since Adam was made from the dirt and Eve was made from Adam's rib. Technically since they were never in the womb, they wouldn't have had belly buttons.

There answer has to be YES or things get really creepy.
If they don't have belly buttons and are truly the first two humans, then the only way for the perpetuation of the human species to occur following their creation was for Eve's sons (Cain and Abel) to mate with her since she was the only female that existed!

No. The technical term for the belly button is umbilicus. Neither Adam or Eve
were born from a womb, so there was no umbilical chord, therefore no belly button.

I love that question! It should be an away message if you have aim.
I don't believe the Adam and Eve story, so i would say no.
I just don't understand why some people think there is some reason why they are so superior to other beings.
I also believe that animals have souls, and Wiccans are perfectly good people.
Strictly Christians believe that God created the animals right?
So why don't you believe that they have souls?

I read a cartoon by Moebius in which it was the other way round: unlike the rest of the human race, John Difool DID have a belly button.
