My period is always on time but this time it only lasted one day and was very light did i have my period?

Get a pregnancy test right away. My aunt had light periods during pregnancy with all 5 of her children.

If there's no way you could be pregnant, go to your doctor and get yourself checked out - there are several serious diseases us women can get down there, and irregular periods can be a sign for most of them.

If you just started birth control pills, or missed a pill, or are on Seasonale, or took Plan B - any of these things can throw your period off as well. I believe there's other prescriptions out there that have nothing to do with birth control that can effect your cycle too. If one of the above is the case, you probably don't have anything to worry about, but I'd take a pregnancy test anyway just to be sure.

Period's take like 10 years to be somewhat normal. If you haven't had one for 10 years, then whatever you experience is in fact a period.

Either way go to your doctor, or at least call. I think that you are fine and you did have your period, especially if you are on birth control. It tends to make periods lighter and shorter depending on the type your on.

You've either lost too much weight for your periods to happen or it's just preparing. Try and wait and see.... it also depends how old you are, though. They're probably just irregular.
