I want to listen to some music on my PC but I don't want to save it or burn it to a disc. Every site I have visited has asked for a membership fee to be paid by credit card not switch. Where can I listen to my choice of music without having to pay this fee.

Check out the 100s of free internet radio stations. There should be one out there with your choice of music. I use iTunes so there is actually a Radio section on the left-hand menu. If you don't already have iTunes, it's free to download from Apple and you don't have to use the store if you don't want to.

When you are on your main menu page with your icons on it, put a CD into the top disc drive, using the open/close button.
A menu should appear for windows media player. **
Play audio CD using windows media player is one of the options
Click on it
CD should play.
** If no menu appears, click on 'start' and all programmes and find windows media player on the menu.

Download a program like Limewire (http://www.limewire.com) and you can start downloading music you like for free. Then just listen to it using something like Windows Media Player or RealPlayer.

You can use Yahoo launch and customize your radio station, it will play songs you like and similar style songs. It's free, but you have few commercials in it. If you don't want them, then you pay.
