you're in point A, on the ground AB.
You're looking at a wall BC perpendicular to the ground

(AB perpendicular to BC)

Then, the angle of elevation of C relative to observator A is the angle CAB

The angle of elevation is the angle between horizontal and some imaginary line along which something happens.

For example, it is the angle formed between an inclined plane and the horizontal. Or the barrel of a gun and the horizontal.

The angle of elevation is the motion of balance of or from P=A(as the higher point to the degree of the motion of P=B(for the point you are looking at). if the point B is lower than A, the signal of degree of the unbalance signal will the right angle of the degrees of the unbalance signal. If you are looking higher the same principle due apply and the right angle will be the numbers of degrees of the unbalance signal. If you are sitting down, you don't need any unbalance signal of number of degrees of the upper or lower elevation point. micheal flurth

Angle of Elevation

The angle above horizontal that an observer must look to see an object that is higher than the observer.

Please Note: The angle of elevation is congruent to the angle of depression.
