I find them very arousing. I wish I knew why. For the longest time I thought I was some freak and the only person in the world who felt the way I did. When I got my first computer some years ago (and of course internet), not only did I realize that I was not alone, but there was a NAME for this feeling. "I have a 'fetish'?"
I guess I love the way they look and feel on women. I heard one say, "they cover every thing and hide nothing." I liked that. My earliest memories of this fetish go back to when I was in kindergarden. I remember our teacher sitting down to read us a story. When we sat on the floor around her she said her feet were killing her and took her shoes off. I was far more interested in her nylon covered feet than I was the story. I have looked everywhere for a possible cause/cure for this or maybe the psychology behind it and found a good explination on Pantyhosemama.com. I don't like to look at adult sites because I am a Christian, but I have referred back to that particular web page because I can find no better answer to my question. One very fortunate thing is my wife does not mind my fetish. She says it's not her thing, but will occasionally indulge me a bit here and there. If she got a professional job in which she wer required to wear some type of nylon hose I would be loving it! She knows it too. Anyway, good question, I have not read any of the other answers yet, but I am interested to see what others had to say.

I'm a guy and I can say that for me ANY well dressed woman catches my eye. Stockings on a nicely dressed woman make my eyes feel warm. I had a ladyfriend a while back who wore a garter belt and seamless RHT (reinforced heel and toe) stockings on a daily basis, all day, every day wen she went to work. Her hemline was always a few inches below the knee. It was not obvious she was wearing stockings and not pantyhose except for one significant difference, regular nylon stockings are the smoothest and sheerest of all. She liked the shine and smoothness of the feel. Her goal was comfort, but the smoothness and sheerness were a definite plus. She told me she felt more sexy and more feminine than when she wore pantyhose, and besides pantyhose bunched up at inconvenient times and in uncomfortable places. For us, this was not a sex thing at first. However, seeing her put on or take off her hose was a very sensual thing for me. She wore a garter belt which was wide, 4" to 6" or so, not like the frilly lacy things you see at Victorias Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood, as they are more for show than utility. And, she told me 6 straps, wide, are necessary to support the stocking at the side as well as the front and back, and the wide straps were needed for when sitting and not having them cutting in to the her backside. For her, comfort was the thing, and we only worked them into playtime much later. However, I ALWAYS found them to be a sexy thing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I loved it when I got a thrill from putting my hand on her thigh and feeling the garter, and she got a thrill from knowing I got a thrill.

It gives the legs a smooth and silky appearance that makes guys want to rub and snuggle up to them. The arousal not only comes from seeing nylon covered legs, but also because it shows that the woman has style and a touch of class. Nothing more sexy than a classy woman.

I find pantyhose sexy because I love legs. Pantyhose are like gift wrapping for sexy legs and the shine and color can accentuate the definition of a woman's legs and rear. I wear pantyhose because they are comfortable, exciting, elegant, fun and I look good in them.

Well for two points I will answer your question.
No I don't wear anykind of hose, but i do love to see the ladies in hose and nice heels, getting the glimpse of stockings or the tops of thigh highs is very inoxicating. Its like a drug to me, I love the sight, i like to see who is wearing them in the office. As some I think love to tease a man, show off their thighs others are more conservative, maybe wearing a longer skirt but still one to look at.

Because if they are good quality, they make your legs very slippery and sexy to the feel for myself, and my partner. They also give a dimension to the legs, than no powder, cream or spray could ever hope to give.

Painty hose are confining. If you take care of yourself, health wise, skin, you don't need them. Panty hose like too much makeup can hide your true beauti. Beauti comes from within and radiates. I only wear them when I have bruise or something to hide. I do ok. Check my 360's page.

I find them very seductive because they hide you but show alot. The ones with the garters are the most appealing.
