What is the longest approved length of ethernet?

Please list for all standards, including CAT 3, 5,, 5e, 6, etc etc etc...... and anything else that exists.

Twisted pair (UTP, STP) uses RJ45 and can go upto 100 m. Fiber optic can start from 500 mt to 40 km. Typical fibre runs 2 kms. With CAT 3, 5, 6 copper increases as well as increase in twists that results in more bandwidth carrying capacity. Distance does not matter here ie they all come under UTP, STP.
