Summer B - the box always says 2, to be safe, so they don't get sued by someone taking 15. But I believe a sports doctor will know the correct answer. . . thanks for trying though.

It's really not a good idea to take more than what the box says. If you take more than what is stated on the box, you increase the probability of side effects.
My boyfriend takes the generic form of Alleve, prescribed by his doctor, and the doctor only prescribed two caplets every twelve hours. I think that is the max effective dose.
