My Mate and I have been have unprotected sex for a year, and we have not conceived yet. But we are ready for a child. Could this be bad if we have not conceived after a year of unprotected sex? Please be honest, and as detailed as you can. Thanks

After an year u should hav conceived as per my information.
Bt i dn't think there's any problem.
I alone was born 11 years after my parents marriage.
Bt i can't tell u their details as i myself will be embarassed to ask my parents such type of Questions.

Don't worry! try for other 3/4 years, no problem.

Bt consult ur Gyne. for details, that what's going in ur vagina, uterus or fallopian tubes.

Key answer is that After 1 year of unprotected sex if u don't conceived u shud see doc once...
Just to confirm that is there any problem in ur fertility or any other anatomical problem.

If there's problem of fertility then u vl hav problem in conceiving.
U may hav to go for Artificial Insemination...
Don't Worry...
Good Luck!

Some people doesnt conceive for years. If you are ready for a child, it will be best for both of you to see a doctor. A medical advice is really good! This will help you know a lot about having a baby. By having a medical check-up, you'll know if your body is ready for the conception or not. Just in case you find out you have some problems or issues why you are not conceiving, this will be a very good opportunity for you to find out why and what is there for you to do to help you conceive. Good luck and keep us posted! I'll be praying for you to have a healthy baby!

well, u can look @ it like there is a problem, but for some people it works that way. or there could be a problem with ur eggs or his sperm count. possibly go 2 ur ob/gyn and tell him/her that u are trying 2 get pregnant and see what he says. also, maybe try one of those ovulation kits. maybe u just arent trying at the right times when ur chances are greater.

u are trying to hard. the male maybe the problem. have his sperm count checked. if not it then it is a bad case of nerves. or stress. that would be the simplest answer. the women's body is like a fine tuned instrument. every thing has to just right. that is easyer said than done i know.

I heard that if you concetrate on having a baby, like thats all you think about and try to do, then its going to be harder to get pregnant. My aunt piper was told she couldnt conceive and they still kept trying. then she stopped worrying about it and she concieved. stop worrying about it so much and maybe it will work. either that or go to a doctor and see if you can even have kids..or if hes sterile. good luck!

Have you went to a doctor? That would be your best bet is to make sure the both of you are able to produce children. There could be many reasons but you should really seek a doctors opinion.

Fertility
Female problems: narrow tubes, poor eggs, uterus with fibroids, hormonal imbalance, obesity, poor nutrition, etc
Male: poor sperm, few sperm, etc
both: anxiety, stress, tired, fatigued
best to do is to have your primary care look at these, if all ok then get married and take a long vacation
