I'm arrogant when it's time to play Trivial Pursuit. I think that's fair as I haven't lost a game of it since sixth grade (my mind is like a steel trap). I've earned my arrogance in that respect. I also keep in mind that if my man ever lucks out and beats me, I'll never live it down so I am prepared to back it up.

Arrogance is never acceptable. But confidence is. And there is a difference between the two.

Never. Arrogance is another word for pride and all pride is sin. It is the sin of pride that caused Lucifer to enter into the Garden of Eden and corrupt Adam. It is pride that causes the death of people because all sin is rooted in pride and all sin leads to death. Humility, which is the opposite of pride, leads to life everlasting. God hates pride and will not hear a prideful man. Our creator expects us to humble ourselves before, but most people insist on being arrogant and cursing God instead. This is the whole problem with their world today---arrogance. If you want to know why everything in the Middle East is in turmoil it is because of the arrogance of politics. If you are having problems in life it is because of sin and sin is caused by pride. Get rid of the pride and you will get rid of the sin in your life. You can only accomplish this, however, through the love of Jesus Christ. Accept him now as your Lord and Savior and set a course on freedom from pride and the devil. Jesus loves you.

Arrogance is only acceptable when he/she can back it up with the
talent, but it is, even then, frowned upon for arrogance is not a virtue but a hinderance to good companionship.

When you are absolutely the best in your field, but watch out, 2nd place isn't far behind, and it will hurt much more being 2nd if you were arrogant when you were first.

When you're a businessman. Businessmen are always arrogant.
The above example is when it's acceptable. It's never justified, I can tell you that...
Or maybe when you look it up in a dictionary...
