There are very few women who are not depressed over their mother in law's. It is just part of marriage unfortunately.
Once in awhile you find a good one but more often then not, you are not going to get along with her.
And it is because she is a mother just like you are probably.
Mothers have a very hard time letting their children go and will always want the best for their children. And mothers are very seldom satisfied with their child's choice of a mate.

Unfortnuately you cannot choose the family you marry into. Talk to your husband more about your depression. You should also seek medical advice from your doctor who also maybe able to help. It a universal law that hardly anyone likes their mother in law just remember it's all about you and your immediate family. Nobody else matters.

Move away. Ignore her completely and play the sweet heart to your husband. Be touchy feely with your husband front of her. Love is better than hate. get sneaky, pretty girl... use your head not your feelings. Come on don't let that controlling women ruin your life. o.k. She is not worth it. Don't complain to your husband about his mother to much. Stay positive and happy. Every one will take your side.

You can't have a worse one than me. She will kiss up to your face and as you are pulling out of the driveway she will already be on the phone saying stuff that you supposedly said just to keep the trouble going and everyone else in the family hate you.

I don't know what's going on between the two of you but it seems like you have a big problem there. you need to talk to her face to face and heart to heart, whatever the problems was try to understand the situation or if it doesn't work then maybe you have to cool down for awhile then find a new way to work things out.

Get her out of your life. It took me 8yrs. It's hard but for your own peace of mind. DO IT! A good mother-in -law,does not cause strife or emotional distress in ones life.
