It doesn't ring too much during the day. But, around 4:00 it is a constant ring. Out of areas, blocked calls, and it is the time when all those telemarketers start calling. When you don't pick me the phone, they hang up on the answering machine, and then they try to call again and again. As if you are going to walk in the door any minute and they don't want to miss you. I even got on the Do Not Call List, which helped a little. The ones who already had my number keeps calling. Sometimes I don't even get to sit down before it starts ringing again. It sucks, big time, don't it??

Yes at times' and it's not the kind of rings, tones, chimes and bells that are relaxing. Kind of makes you do a little jump off your chair. Running for the phone really not the best exercise.

Yes, the phone rings constantly. My fiance has resorted to answering the phone by saying "Grand Central Station, how may I direct your call."

I refuse to get a house phone. I have a cell and that is all I need. Plus that way it is next to me and I don't have to get up every time it rings.
