Firstly, your personal statement needs to have structure, an introduction, a main body and an end.In the opening paragraph It should cover why you are writing , why you want to apply for midwifery and what you are doing now This then leads the structure of main body, what influenced this choice of nursing (be very motivated and positive with this). Any personal /life (as well as academic) skills you can offer (good organisational, decision making skills, time management skills which you will need as a midwife) that are transferable to this field . Any previous experience that motivated you to want to become a midwife, why you choose that particular university (kiss a lil ***). Make sure you add your goals, what you want to have achieved by the end of the course , do this in conclusion section.

Write a list of the reasons you have chosen midwifery, what experience/characteristics you have that would make you good at it and take it from there.
