I would basicly pry my eyes open at night so I wouldn't fall asleep waiting for it to come on. I still have a mental image of Adam Curry's hair burned into my thoughts.

Yup... I was doing the same thing as you did. Sometimes I wish I could put a matchstick between my eyelids just to keep it open. I really love that show and it showcased some of my fave bands (Carcass, Megadeth, Slayer, TOOL, etc...). I don't know why the hell they shut it down???

If you liked Headbanger's Ball when Adam and then Riki were on, you'll be pleased with Metal Mania (hosted by Eddie Trunk) on VH-1 Classic. Much better than the MTV2 version which is really poor quality.

There is only one thing to say about headbangers ball (the original that is) it rocks ...But the one on VH1 classic is the next best thing to the original

Yeah I remember it!! It was on a couple nights ago on MTV2..I watched it but it was kind of new so wasnt as good =/
