0% of women will get pregnant in the first year after being off the pill. Some get pregnant right away, some take a little bit longer. I wouldn't worry until you hit the one year mark. It can take that long for your cycles and ovulation to get back to normal.

Pregnancy After the Pill
There is no reason to worry about becoming pregnant after you stop taking the pill. The pill will in no way affect your fertility and more than 90% of pill-users become pregnant within a year of coming off the pill. This being said, it does take some women longer to become pregnant after stopping the pill.

Typically, it takes about three months for full fertility to return. Some women may find that it takes closer to six months for them to become pregnant. Other women become pregnant immediately after going off of the of the pill. It really depends upon your body’s own natural cycle. Though you can try to get pregnant immediately after coming off of the pill, it is usually recommended that you wait a little while. Allow your body to go through one or two regular menstrual cycles. This will help your body get back in sync again, and will also help you to pinpoint your ovulation dates.

If you are trying to get pregnant after using the pill, here are some tips that may help you improve your chances.

* Eat as nutritiously as possible.
* Begin taking a folic acid supplements.
* Quit smoking.
* Limit your intake of alcohol.
* Try to manage your stress.

Well it can take up to a year for your body to get back to normal. Some times it can take a month or two to have your first period. I toke me and my hubby nearly two years to fall with our second. Just have to wait and see you might be lucky and fall pregnant soon - I you do. There is nothing like waiting to do that test and finding out you are, its great feeling. Good luck and try to relax and it will happen give it time.

It totally depends on the person. My sister-in-law, for example, was pregnant about 6 months after going off the pill. I got pregnant while ON the pill.

Hi, it ususally takes about 3 mos. for the pill to work it's way out of your system. If you try for 6 mos. after that with no results, contact your Dr. (When I came off the pill, we tried for 7 mos. and had to get a shot of clomid to encouraged ovulation.) Also, you should always keep up your yearly annual exams. Hope this info. helps.

Hi,
According to my doctor on average it takes about 6 months for a couple to conceive. However this varies greatly depending on age, life style (diet/stress level). Things that tend to speed up the progress are eating healthy, taking folic acid and living stress free.
In general nobody will be able to tell you how long it takes, it will simply happen when its supposed to happen.
Good luck
