Paint should be stored in a temperature controlled location. Freezing is more of a problem than heat - it breaks the paint down. Another consideration - if the paint is in the "old" metal cans they tend to rust over time. If you're saving paint for touch-ups, consider putting a little in an air tight plastic container - mark w/ date, color number (names change), brand and a sample on top. Smaller containers make for easier storage. Good luck, Sis

Most pant company's will tell you to store paint at room temperature. 105 degrees will not hurt or ruin the paint . with lid tightly sealed on can, store upside down, this will prevent a film from forming on top of paint and will be ready to use after mixing.

For a short period of time, the paint can be stored at 105. But, if you intend to open that a year from now, expect separation, hardening of surface, etc.
You probably should not store paint if you don't have a cooler place.

As long as it's in the shed it should be ok. I live in west Texas and have kept paint stored for years in a metal shed without harming it. Just be sure you give it a really good stir before you use it.

The temp won't hurt the paint, store your cans upside down to prevent air from seeping in. That way your paint won't dry and get that film on top.
