I like Guillemots, trains to Brazil and We are scientists it's a hit, not new I know.

There's good music coming out all the time. Right now I'm listening to Glorious, by Captain. Another great record which is so obscure that I've had to order (but was released as recently as Monday 31 July) is Good Ideas by the Dykeenies and is probably not available in North America.
If you're in the UK get yourself a didgital radio and listen to XFM in the evenings for great new sounds. What's more, they are all songs that you won't get to here all that often; no chance of those getting played to death! Great music though.

The Specials, because Iv'e just got a greatest hits album and I have just seen a documentary about their influence on British youth and music.
Sugar - found the album Copper Blue in a record shop in Harrogate the other week and had to get it, brilliant album, listening to it all the time at the moment. Really like Bob Mould.
The Kaiser Chiefs - best British band for ages, and they're from just down the Road in Leeds. 'I predict a Riot!'
The Killers they are a killer!

Bob Dylan!! The best writer ever and he has a unique sound. He has a new albulm coming out this month, but any of his other stuff is legendary.
