Part of the wobble can be attributed to the center of your gravity shifting. Seriously. When pregnant, your body automatically tries to adjust for center of gravity/balance. And as it shifts, due to baby weight, extension of the body this way or that, and your own adjustment for comfort (arching your back more as you walk, trying to stay balanced) affects your overall balance and movement.
I loved my daughter's movements. The Alien in the stomach roll (when she'd roll in such a way as to distend my stomach and you could track her all the way across). And the hiccups. She'd get hiccups and I'd spend forever watching my tummy jig and jiggle. Good luck to you, and congratulations.

I'm at 25 weeks, and I feel like a parody of a pregnant woman. Walkin' all wobbly and grunting to get off the couch. But, it is great to feel her moving around, all those little kicks and punches.

Yes at some point in your second trimester you will begin to feel the baby move around. Your partner may not be able to feel the baby move when you do.... that will happen a few weeks later.
