its harder to lose weight as you get older since your body holds on to more fat and burns less. try building a bit of muscle and a little light running (if your heart is good. if not walking is the next best thing) also eat a large breakfast and go very light on the dinner keep it under 2000 cal and you should start seeing weight lost. good luck to you.

Your question disturbs me immensely!

You do not say how tall you are either which is VITAL for the calculation. 84 kgs isn't a vast amount of weight to be carrying even at 60! And suggests a 5'.7" to 6' plus frame.

The food-stuffs you list while very healthy for the most part, are not calorie nor very fat laden. So unless your luncheon is woefully unhealthy you should be controlling your weight if not actually loosing.

In the event that you are concerned with a small belly developing, it's part of the genetic and aging process - exercise like sit-ups, lite jogging as in toning the muscles will help to some extent.

Please consider your intake seriously.

May be you can reduce the intake of food or change the diet of eating like instead of dosa you may take wheat bread or just fruits.tea other drinks add less sugar. You may also try water therapy by drinking water (six glass of water, start of with 2 glass and increase gradually )before going for walk.try this without changing your diet first.
Another option seek the advice of dietitian

It sounds like you may be eating too little. When your intake is well below what your body needs, your metabolism slows and tries to preserve resources by NOT burning fat.

You should see a dietician and have them help you work out a more balanced diet that will help you achieve your goals.
